Wall-2-Wall Fur Bear Conclave

March 7-9, 2008

(First Weekend of March annually)

 
This event seems to have taken on a life of it's own, with the cooperation of so many guys and clubs. The various bear groups, all of which are no more than 2 hours from Detroit. This is the continuing effort of the bear community working together in our area. Each group added something to the weekend and by that effort act as emissaries to the rest of the community. We get a massive turnout and everyone seems to have a good time.

During the weekend there is food, DJ-ed music and lots and lots of Bears and "bear-types". Some of the most friendly guys and all down to meet. We've listed a number of  hotels in the area (less than $20 cab ride in most cases), for those who may party a bit more than a little. We have a lot of independent bears down as well. Some from the "thumb area" of Michigan, from as far as Indianapolis, 

So many guys kept asking, so we are going to do another W2WFB the second weekend of June. So put it on your calendar and come on down during pride month and get an armload of "fur"!

Update: Motor City Bears will be selecting their Mr. Motor City Bear on Saturday with DJ Phoenix spinning for your pleasure. On Sunday, Motor City Bears will be back to welcome Jeff Altergott back to the Saloon with a performance on Sunday evening. Put it on your schedule and hope to see you down...at the Saloon!
