This event seems to have taken on a life of it's own, with the cooperation of so many guys and clubs. The various bear groups, all of which are no more than 2 hours from Detroit. This is the continuing effort of the bear community working together in our area. Each group added something to the weekend and by that effort act as emissaries to the rest of the community.

Motor City Bears did a great "Furry Butt" contest, and a "Sexy Legs" contest. Prison City Bears did a benefit for the Michigan AIDS Coalition, and much thanks to Albert, current President of Motor City Bears for making a collection to help Kenny of Chosen Books who suffered a heart attack. Many wonderful wishes for his speedy recovery. We had a lot of independent bears down this time as well. Some from the "thumb area" of Michigan, from as far as Indianapolis, and a special guest the newly minted "Mr. Daddy Bear" Daddy Bear Roger, winner of that title from IBR (International Bear Rendevous), who lives in Cincinnati and represents IBR San Francisco, International Daddy Bear 2003 & River Bears, Cincinnati OH. What a woofy man! Tom Oakley of Prison City Bears provided the photos from the weekend.

So many guys kept asking, so we are going to do another W2WFB the second weekend of June. So put it on your calendar and come on down during pride month and get an armload of "fur"!
