We're going through a bit of "upgrade" and "renovations" during the month of August and part of September. We are open with temporarily shortened hours (6p - 2a daily, 4p to 2a Sunday). So come on down, but please, "pardon our dust" while we work on the improvements. Put it on your calendar for our "Grand Re-Opening" and rededication to the Leather and Bear communities on Friday, September 12th, 2008.

On behalf of the Michigan International Gay Rodeo Association, the MIGRA Royalty Team is the prime source of raising money to fund a number of charities. They also create revenue to assist in operating the MIGRA and accomplish all of this through a variety of methods such as car washes, corporate donations, and entertaining.

For Royalty guidelines and other related forms check the MIGRA Rules Book, MIGRA’s By-Laws, or the webpage at www.michiganrodeo.org. Judging will be on an Interview,  Western Wear, Entertainment, and a "Plan of action" for fundraising.

Here is the application and samples of the forms used to evaluate and judge the competition and what is expected. PLEASE READ THE FORMS CAREFULLY! Judges will use these exact forms to evaluate the competition.

The winners of each of the competition will receive their Buckles/Tiaras upon completion of the competition and have fulfilled their $250 fundraising requirement. So, it is better to have a plan of action in place when you come to compete.

Detroit Area Rough and Kinkfest Weekend

L.I.F.E. Detroit (Leather Institute for Education - Detroit) is sponsoring an annual  weekend of Leather, fetishes, and kink. Throughout the weekend, there will be various speakers and demonstrations in areas of kink, leather, and fetish.

For those interested in competing for Mr. Leather Cowboy, please see the rules and download the entry form. All entries are expected to be on attendance on Friday, February 4th for the "Meet-n-Greet". Winner of the Mr. Leather Cowboy contest will be entered for International Mr. Leather in Chicago, Memorial Day weekend (May 2009). So don't be afraid of the D.A.R.K. Plan to be part of it.
